I found my perfect wedding shoes and they are on their way to me right now! It is a happy day!
They will look very cute with my yellow and blue themed wedding! And with my colored slip for my wedding dress! That's one less thing to do now.
BTW . . . today is exactly 6 weeks until THE Day!!!!!!

Of Rings and Weddings and Things
Did you know that you make a website for pretty much anything these days? Because it's true . . . you make a website or at least a Facebook event for everything these days. I for one know that I have already created a Facebook event and group for my wedding.
And I am here today to announce that I now have an up and running and pictured wedding site:
Click HERE to check it out!
It even has a link to my photo albums and registries. It's pretty sweet stuff!
And in the way of announcements, the wedding announcements arrived today. They turned out well and we should be receiving the envelopes by Wednesday and hopefully get things mailed out by the end of the week. Be excited!
So I've been ring browsing for Tony. I don't say shopping because at the moment I don't even have the money to buy a ring even if I wanted to. Did you know that the vogue thing to do these days is buy a men's ring made out of Tungsten? or Cobalt? Basically, the trend is to spend upwards of $2, 3, or 4 thousand on a girl's ring and then get the cheapest ring possible for the man. A tungsten ring can come for as cheap at $120. Yep, I'll say it again . . .
$120
It just doesn't seem so fair to me. But I suppose I am not one to go against the crowd about such things so I have come to the decision that I am going to purchase Tony a cobalt ring that looks a little something like this:

This one is going to run me about $185. Not too shabby. And frankly, I can't even tell the difference between the white gold model that would set me back by about $665. And to be even more honest, I don't think anyone would have even noticed it I had not put a real diamond in my ring. But as traditions dictate, I did. And who am I to complain that I have a boy who loves me enough to buy me a diamond?

Please Vote
I know a request for votes is a little annoying, but it will really help the organization that is being so kind to actually pay me for my services!! Yeah, I 'm getting paid for my internship. That's hard to come by these days kids so to thank them on behalf of me for their generosity you only need to do one thing. And I promise it takes less than 2 minutes (if it takes longer let me know and I will feed you dinner or something).

Go here and vote. You have to login to your facebook and like vivint to vote. Each person is allowed one vote per day from now until August 27th. I would really like to win. Thanks guys!
And as a little treat for being so kind here are a few of my pictures from my sojourn to Ghana:

I must say I am pretty pleased with how they turned out. Did I tell you I made them myself?
Because I totally did.
I'll admit it . . . I'm pretty awesome.
Also, I'm getting married in less than 2 months! Now that is exciting stuff!

Engagements
I took my engagement photos. I'm sure most of you have already seen them. They were so fun to take. Plus it gave me an awesome excuse to splurge (and I mean SPLURGE) on a dress from Shabby Apple. Interestingly enough, Tony actually found the dress not me . . . go figure. No matter, it was adorable and that is what matters.
I've always wondered what it would be like to participate in a professional photography session. I was always kind of jealous of how awesome a picture could make those America's Next Top Model girls look. Although I do not plan to audition for top model anytime soon, I will admit that my pictures did turn out pretty darn good. I think Tyra would be proud. Not that I care what she thinks since I am a firm believer that Tyra is in fact the worst part of that show . . . by far. Anywho...engagements. That's what we are talking about. Do you want to see some of our favs?
Do you?
Yes?
Good!
And if you're real curious there are 141 pictures here so go check them out. Go on now!
And if you're so super jealous of my dress that you absolutely must have one for your very own head on over to Shabby Apple and order you one! I am quite in love with this site . . .
and Tony too of course!

Shabby
Also, I bought a wedding dress . . . and a bra to wear under the dress for that matter. More on this later!
Oh, and I'm digging on Shabby Apple these days! I think this might make a fabulous bridesmaid dress:
And oh boy, there's a cute one in yellow too!
I have decided that there is no justifiable reason as to why all the bridesmaid dresses have to match. i.e. I want to buy two different ones. Thoughts?

Engaged
Yep . . . pretty self explanatory. I realize this is late . . . like two weeks late. But everything is on my blog these days so no apologizes here. But it is official . . . not that you guys don't know this . . . but IT IS!!

Yep . . . you can't get much more official than that I don't think.
But in case you still need proof, I also received two letters from the Church in the mail over the weekend. One contains the details and confirmation of my endowment appointment.
AND THE OTHER . . .
you guessed it! It contains the confirmation and details of our sealing appointment!!
There are some pretty exciting things happening in my life these days!
Obviously, I'm getting MARRIED! Married?!?! Crazy, huh?!
Also, I'm going to Ghana and the UK for about 3 weeks.
Oh, and I got two internship offers for this summer.
Did I mention I'm getting married?!
To this guy!

Don't worry. He doesn't normally look like this . . . nor do I for that matter. We went to theHoli Festival of Colors last weekend. It was a fun time except for the magenta colored boogers/snot I had for the rest of the day. But I suppose sometimes having a good time comes along with strange colored snot. Doesn't it?
Here is a more accurate representation:

Ok, not so much.

I'm just being mean now. So here's an actual good picture for putting up with my nonsense:

Also since we're on the topic of marriage, General Conference was this weekend. Yes this seems unrelated but it isn't.
This was an adorable talk about marriage by Elder Richard G. Scott.
And of course he is always my favorite so make sure to check out Elder Jeffery R. Holland's talk.
